She's always done everything by hand or with a hand mixer so it was time to give her an upgrade. She's is really enjoying the mixer. She says it works well, even on one of her bread recipes. This is the first stand mixer I've owned. I got the glass bowl to go with it. The mixer itself is very heavy/sturdy. It definitely will not be moving on its own. It has multiple speeds and a lock to keep the head down when mixing. It has made baking/cooking much easier and quicker.

The best mixer anybody could ask for. Very durable, speed selections are great, attachments are great. You can't go wrong with this mixer! Highly recommended!

Bought this to replace a 25 year old stand mixer of another off brand. Surprised it lasted that long. I have been wanting a kitchenaid stand mixer for years and FINALLY found it on sale. This thing is a beast. Very heavy, solid construction and a workhorse. It has performed flawlessly for the last month and a half of regular use. This machine is equally as solid as my kitchenaid pro blender and far outperforms my former stand mixer!! Hopefully this one will outlast my former mixer too!
