We aren't coffee drinkers but we expect to be able to crush lots of things for my wife to use in her cooking and baking.

Works just fine for grinding coffee. You have to depress the top to start the process and you need to push straight down or it will not activate.

This item works excellently to grind my coffee beans and is much quieter than other grinders I have used in the past.

This is the first coffee grinder I have purchased and it works like a dream. It's easy to maintain and is very efficient.

Grinds your beans plain and simple. Would like to be able to grind smaller amounts like one cup but the min is 4, otherwise you get burnt flavored grounds. Overall does a good job. No settings for grind size just hold and go until desired grind is met, best for a coarse grind. The grinds do find their way out of the bowl and into the cover and base frequently which can be annoying, it is for me.
