    Not Your Usual Grind

Mu first thought, pay this much for a coffee grinder? I was looking for around $100, but I like Kitchen-Aid products and decided to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the extra details and features. It looks great on the counter, delivers the most consistent grind, and is quiet. The adjustments are accurate, plus it has a memory, which makes it convenient. The little container at the bottom, which doubles as storage if you want, is a cool dual-purpose feature. You will love this machine and not regret your decision.

Incredible Coffee Grinder for Pour Over Life

Bought this to transition to a pour over lifestyle. It’s really an amazing product that’s dummy proof. My only beef with it is that it didn’t say what grind setting would work for pour over. After researching for 3 days figured out that 22-27 is the right setting for pour over.

Quite, easy to use and have a solid kitchen aid quality. This is the best grinder we ever used. Hands down. We LOVE it so much that we got a second one to handle different beans simultaneously.

I used a few coffee bean grinders including the blade type. This one is above and beyond. Many coffee ground settings to suit your type of brew system. Unlike many brands I tried, this one is very quiet and literally no static. Most model create a big mess when coffee flakes spread all over the kitchen counter during and when you pour out the grounds, this one does not.

Want instant coffee grounds the right size every time? This is for you. Previously I had a $30 grinder and it sounded like a vertical jet engine, Got my wife up every time I used it. Early mornings are now gently woken up by a low whirring sound and then the coffee machine. Set the quantity and sweet coffee aroma surrounds you. Nothing like fresh ground coffee & it is so quick. Presets can be changed to whatever you wish for, drip, espresso, whatever. Works great with my reusable Keurig pods - the disposables are so expensive - save by getting the reusables and do not look back!

Finally, a grinder where my husband does make an absolute mess with the grounds taking the container out. This machine is superbly designed and impressively quiet. Love how you can set it up to grind based on number of cups. Very easy to use and an absolute must for if you like freshly grounded coffee beans.

Great value for your money. One of the best burr grinders out there. It has multiple grind settings. Just wished it can grind finer for my espresso dose. You can further adjust grind setting but still not enough. Presets are good but if you need dial in your own setting, it’s possible. The machine is quiet and anti static container is a plus.

This device offers a consistent grind and is definitely well made. It has a nice range of settings to play around with if you're particular about your coffee or like experimenting with different brewing methods. Performs infinitely better than a blade grinder.

This is hands down the best coffee grinder we have ever owned. Still works great after 12 months and twice a day use. It's much quieter than the previous Krups and Cuisinart models we've owned and delivers consistent measured burred grinds.

This the second of this coffee grinder that I have purchased. This is a gift, because I purchased one of the these earlier in the year for myself and love it so much it’s an easy gift idea. I know that many grinders out there have many of the same settings as this one. You have adjustments for grain size, from French Press to espresso, with many sizes in between. You have the dial to adjust for how many cups of coffee wants, which takes the guessing out of measuring. You have a nice sized hopper above that allows you to preload beans. What you might not know is that it has a built in holder that will hold your espresso cup for easy filling. It is stowed under the grounds cup at the bottom. You also have a catch cup that has a sealable lid so you can keep grounds fresh longer. The way this Kitchenaid grinder provides all of these is just really elegant and fun. And it is an attractive appliance on top of that. You can get it in several colors so it’s really nice sitting on your counter. This grinder is also one of the quietest I’ve experienced. Any grinder will make noise. But I’ve had friends point out that they have never heard a grinder this quiet. You can almost make conversation while it is running. I have also noticed this grinder goes on sale quite a bit. Which makes its value even better. Overall I would highly recommend this grinder if you are looking for grinding your beans.

This grinder does everything I had hoped for when I selected it. It appears to be well constructed and is very nice looking on the counter. Selecting the various types of grinds is very easy and adjustments such as to length of grind time can be made. It has great storage capacity for the whole beans as well as for the ground coffee after it has been ground. Only minor issue to some, may be that is a bit loud when grinding. It is not an issue for me.

I literally love this grinder!! It is so quiet, quick, clean, and consistent - which is everything you would be looking for in a grinder (in my opinion). The adjustments of grind size and output are not only easily changed, but it is really enjoyable to use. It is a really polished product all around. I was researching several grinders in the 200-300 dollar price range and ended up between this and the Fellow Ode and really glad I went with KitchenAid's newest offering.

Honestly I got this because was getting tired of the mess and imprecision of conventional blade grinders. That being said, I'm pleasantly surprised by now quiet and fast it is. Also, the taste of both my cold brew and drip machine coffee significantly improved. With the programmable grinder it's easy to figure out the precise amounts and coarseness you need for particular container or coffee type. KitchenAid didn't provide details on the burr material but it seems high quality and the top part is partially removable for cleaning. The only thing I didn't like was the plastic grind catcher. I'm afraid it will eventually break or crack with me constantly removing/replacing the grinds container.

I got this because I have different needs. I needed the course grinds for cold brew and French press but I also have regular coffee makers and a cappuccino machine where the finer grinds are necessary. It does a great job fulfilling all of these categories. I love the versatility!

Totally impressed! Much more quiet than I thought it would be? There are many adjustments that can be made, so please read the manual. I only partially read it, enough to grind my coffee and then afterwards my 5 peppercorn blend. Ground both on expresso mode and it works beautifully! Other's have said that they couldn't get close to an expresso grind? Obviously they didn't make the necessary adjustments? My coffee and peppercorns came out just superb!! Personally, I could not have picked a better burr grinder! Kudos to Kitchen Aid!! Job VERY well done!! I give it a big fat 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating!! Solidly built and the high gloss black finish is gorgeous!! Just get one, you can't go wrong!
