What can I say? I love love LOVE this machine! It powers though dough of all types, and even tamale corn meal dough. It's been great overall! I have purchased additional attachments for slicing and dicing and it has saved my life tremendously when prepping for big family events. My only suggestion would be to own more than one bowl, so that you can power through any task with little downtime. Overall, the best mixer money can buy!

Read several magazine reviews all suggesting this Kitchen Aid stand mixer was one of the two or three best available - and it was half to one third the price of the other mixers. Best Buy had it, had it on sale, and had it cheaper than anyone else. Used once already on a complicated first time recipe (a traditional old-fashioned home-style Christmas fruitcakes) (multiple batches) and except for a problem with splatter control (fixed by being sure the beaters were deep in the bottom of the bowl before starting, and then started at the lowest speed before moving on) this was easy and fun to use. This will be so much better for my mixing needs than my old hand mixer, I'm already thinking about which new complicated recipe I can try next. Home made bread? Thank you Kitchen Aid and Best Buy.

This unit is small, compact and very light. My wife uses it for her baking needs and has no issues thus far. Powerful as well.

I bought it for my girlfriend for Christmas because she loves to bake cupcakes. She loves the mixer, how easy it is to use and how well it mixes all the ingredients.

I cannot live without this mixer, it works great and I have bought several attachments for it. I would highly recommend it!

We have never had a mixer of this grade. It's a definite step up from what we are used to. Just lift it...it's built. My wife immediatley fell in love with it. She can't wait to buy additional attachments. (I am looking forward to her making pasta!) It came in several colors and features stainless steel which goes with everything in our kitchen. I went ahead and purchased the meat grinder when I bought this so we will be saving money by grinding our own burger. Best Buy shipped it out in plenty of time to arrive for Christmas. I defintiely scored some points!

I am so grateful to have received this as a gift from my son for Mother’s Day/My Birthday. I love to bake and this mixer makes it easy to make wonderful cakes from scratch quickly. The attachments are easy to use and the mixer is quite sturdy. The bowl capacity is adequate To hold all the ingredients for making 1 cake at a time. I have wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer for years and we got it for a great price.

I received this same mixer 18 years ago for a wedding present and now my sister-in-laws and I are giving my mother-in-law one for Christmas. It is a "Must have" item for every kitchen and will last a lifetime.

I love this mixer!! I am pretty new to baking and previously used hand mixers to perfect various recipes. However, this KitchAid stand mixer is a truly a beauty. It incorporates ingredients wonderfully to make for the perfect baked good. In the last month we’ve made pies, cakes, cookies, and even dinner rolls. Everything that goes into this mixing bowl comes out tasty and plain good!!
