OMG, I love this mixer......I have wanted one for years and finally built up a bunch of bonus points on my reward zone card and ordered it online. Received it fast, and used it to make cookies, mashed potatoes in the first few days. It works really well and mixes throughly and quickly. I can step away from it also while its mixing and work in my kitchen. I put it on my countertop where I do my baking, so now all I have to do it slide it out and throw the stuff in and turn it on. So easy. No more dragging the hand mixer out, etc. I really don't know how I did without this for so many years. Buy it, you will love it.

get it home to see it is not work at all very up set, return to store and there are not in stock.

I received this mixer as a Christmas present from my boyfriend. I found that this product is VERY well constructed and it has a TON of power. The mixer comes with the wire wisk, flat beater and dough hook. The first day I got it, I used the flat beater to make mashed potatoes and I was AMAZED to find that took all of the clumps out after just two minutes. Normally I would be afraid to leave an appliance like this unattended - but this mixer is SO sturdy. Even at max-speed, the mixer does not shake or vibrate on the counter. Overall ... Amazing! Cooking has never been so easy!

Fantastic. I am not a baker or a good cook but find myself searching for ways to use this everyday. Clean up is easy. Super easy to use and makes everything from a simple boxed cake mix to from scratch cinnamon rolls a breeze. Where has it been all my adult life? Only problem was it was backordered and did not arrived till almost a month after ordering. I would have cancelled and ordered a larger model if I could have gotten the sale price diffence carried over. OH weell. Well, worth the wait!

Purchased this KitchenAid mixer when it went on sale. We have used it so many times during the holidays for cakes, cookies, you name it. It's a great product and we will surely get our money's worth from it.

Why has the design of these not changed in decades? Because it is already perfect. Great look and very functional. Amazing power kneads through thick dough, high speed whips eggs or cream. This solid and sturdy machine is heavy which is a good thing because if you are doing dough, a lighter machine would tip over.

Great, powerful product. Does the job well, and makes mixing things way easier.

This is a great product. My wife and I were not sure about all the "hype" around this product, but, we admit, this is one of the best tools we have in our whole house. There are lots of options for customizing this machine to fit your exact needs as well.

I really surprised my wife this year with a kitchen aid. She's been wanting one for a long time. It does not disappoint. Very solid construction. Mixing bowl locks into place so no fear of spills. At Thanksgiving, we made home-made mashed potatoes with a hand mixer and it was so messy. Christmas morning we used the kitchen aid and it was like night and day. Easy, clean, quick, and they came out wonderfully. Pricey for a mixer I'll agree, but considering you'll most likely only ever buy one...can't beat it.

We love this thing. The strong motor makes short work of even the thickest bread dough. There are a mutitude of attachments that will handle most food processing tasks. Plus, clean up is easy.

This mixer is amazing. My grandmother has had the same one for decades, so even though they are expensive, they are worth the money! It is really easy to make anything from cakes to mashed potatoes in this machine, and you can get many attachments to increase the versatility. The most convenient this about this is that it stands alone. You don't have to hold the mixer, so you can have both hands free to cook. I love the slightly higher-end colored mixers, but this classic one is just fine for me...especially considering it is much cheaper!

I took years to be willing to put out this kind of money but I am so pleased I did. I want to bake all the time which is not good for me. So I bake on Saturdays and take the goods to church on Sunday, they love it. Even recipes I used to stir by hand I will use my kitchenaid mixer for. I bought the basic model and I am very pleased. Very easy clean up too.

I purchased this similar model in 2002 at the same price and am now replacing it with this model. The 2002 mixer has started leaking oil. We only use this mixer a few times a year and KitchenAid CSR says lack of use will often lead to seals pre-mature brakedown. So, take my advice and buy this product but remember to run it 5-10 minutes each month to keep the seals from leaking.

I have wanted this kind of mixer for YEARS, Well, my boyfriend's mom was going to buy me one for christmas, but I couldnt resist!!!! LOL. I LOVE this mixer, it can do EVERYTHING I cook or bake. I would not go for anyother mixer at all. I suggest EVERYONE gets this mixer

I've had this mixer for over a year now and it's never let me down!!! I used to have one at the bakery I worked at and we used it very day and it withstood all the beatings of bread dough and gallons of frosting made!!! I was there for 6 years and when I left the mixer was still going strong!!

I have wanted a Kitcheaid since my mother had one when I was little. I got one this year for a gift and have since bought a few of the attatchments. I love this machine. I gets used alot and works great!

Gave this to our daughter for Xmas & she's used it a ton! Everytime she uses it she says she just shakes her head and wonders how she baked without it. :)

If you're looking for something to make bread or cookie dough, I wouldn't recommend this one. I only owned it for 2 weeks and used it everyday. I made bread dough twice, and the bowl got stuck. The second time I made it, the hook stopped spinning. I would have to knead the dough down with my hand and then try again. Returned it and I am looking into a different model.

We've owned and used this mixer for years. It's powerful and dependable. Because of our experience, we purchased another one as a wedding present for our daughter. She specifically wanted "mom's mixer." This mixer will definitely outlast all of the others.

This mixer is very easy to use, has lots of accessories and makes life in the kitchen sooooo much easier!!
