1 star due to the fact that you cancel my PAID order just because I was not able to pick it up on the day YOU set! Who gives deadlines to picking up orders? I paid for it in person and set to pick up on March 8. No phone calls no nothing. I just happened to see the email that you cancelled it! What a disservice!!!

    Ditch the Microwave AND Oven

This air fryer/toaster oven combo has to be my favorite kitchen appliance, hands down. If you are single or have a small family, you can prepare virtually all of your meals in this single appliance. You have the ability to bake, broil, roast, reheat, and fry all in one! The appliance is very attractive and of good quality. I would've preferred a stainless steel look, but that's personal. The digital temperature readout is a nice feature that many air fryers don't have. Performance-wise, the machine cooks like a dream. The air fryer capability is a perfectly suitable replacement to a standalone air fryer. It cooks the food all over without the need to flip or turn. I would adjust the temperature down for most of your recipes to avoid overcooking or burning. For example, I would normally cook salmon on 400 degrees in a conventional oven versus 325-350 in the toaster oven. I also adjust cooking time--this thing cooks FAST. There is no true formula, but just learn your machine as you cook various items and you will get a feel for adjustments needed. Overall highly recommend.

    Happy wife, ...

So here’s the thing — to me, it’s a glorified toaster oven. For my wife, it’s the second coming of toaster ovens…and so much more. I do admit that it looks good sitting on the counter. Quality fit and finish. KitchenAid recommends 4” of clearance all the way around this unit, but that would almost put it weirdly to the counter’s edge. I suggested that we keep it back against the wall (which is tiled with slate) and only move it out when using either the fryer or convection settings…just to be safe. That seems to work fine. To use as a toaster oven, the manual says to slide the rack into the middle position. This seems logical because whatever you’re toasting would be equidistant from the upper and lower heating elements. The problem is that when the toast is done, I’m used to carefully reaching to slide the toast forward onto a waiting plate. That’s a dangerous thing with this unit since the back of your hand can easily be burned by the top edge of the oven. To be safe, we now use a fork or chopstick to do the job. But…I wanted to see what would happen to the toast if I put the rack on the bottom position. It came out just fine — no burnt toast from being too close to the bottom element. You may need to play with the settings, or you may decide to keep the rack in the middle and use something besides your hand for extraction. When we first tried the air fryer, we cooked up some frozen corndogs to see what would happen. Maybe not the best test for the frying function, but those dogs came out amazing with a light crispness to the batter. No mess. No heating up a huge oven. You just spray a light coating of oil on the basket tray, throw in the corndogs, set the timer/temp, and go. Because the air fryer is a type of convection process, we did deduct about 20% of the recommended cooking time. Perfect. During the cooking process, we did notice a couple things that I want to mention. The first is that there is an interior light which comes on during cooking. I like that. I wonder how long it will last. Secondly, the exterior does get warm so you need to be aware of what is on or next to the oven. When you are in any of the cooking modes (bake, broil, air fry) and you are programming the timer to cook at a specific temperature, be aware that the oven will first preheat to your desired temp before automatically initiating the timer. Pretty slick. All in all, we’re looking forward to trying new things like the dehydrator, baking…and more air frying. This oven has a lot going for it — good looks, sturdy build, quiet fan, doesn’t heat up the entire kitchen like a standard oven, and it has an interior light! This is a great addition to anyone’s kitchen. It would also be awesome for someone with a studio apartment that may not have an oven. It’s won me over.

This is great!! All in one, large enough for most meals, and so easy to use. Set up was simple out of the box and it really doesn't take up a whole lot of countertop real estate. Very solidly built. Being single, the size is perfect so I'll be using this more often than my oven. It preheats so fast due to the size that I really have no use for anything else. I've air fried some chicken nuggets with the basket and they came out perfect, baked some breadsticks, reheated some pizza, toasted some english muffins and cooked a tv dinner over the last few days. Really looking forward to diving to to some bigger projects. Love the digital settings and options. They make it so easy for someone like me who's always on the run to get things right the first time. Love it!!

this a much bigger air fryer than my previous it’s being a toaster oven make it even better, my gf been baking lately so that would be the next thing to try out, but so far I totally just baked some chicken wings and it’s amazing how the texture/ taste turned out! Pros - great black design with stainless steel, part of the handle is is plastic but the build quality is great - the nob are great solid that doesn’t feel loose, you have different option on the left for toast, bagel, bake, air frying etc - the right dial also have a clean big digital screen to set your temperature and timer by click the nob - it’s a fairly heavy product, so don’t worry it doesn’t feel cheap - it’s it equipped with about 4 different trays for you to use, I end up using 2 try while making some chicken wings - the experience so was easy and simple , didn’t have any issue cleaning the trays after wards, came out fairly easily after being soaked in water Cons - its a big device so maybe smaller apartments my have difficulty storing this oven - power cord is decent length but I think it should be a tiny bit longer. I love this oven i’m in love, it’s such an easy thing to have, remember for people whose not familiar with this kind of oven/ air fryer you’ll still need to pre heat before you can cook, I have a small air fryer that doesn’t require to be preheat first, but on this one make sure you wait to preheat the device then start the timer, satisfied user and highly recommended

This unit is quite versatile in the things it can do, for sure! So far I've replaced my standalone toaster and air fryer with it and it works great for both of those purposes. Every now and again I'll use it to reheat food but it hasn't impressed me that much; takes *significantly* (like 20x) longer than a microwave from what I've seen. Quality is better, yes of course, but the time is a bit much for us (family of 5). The unit heats up *extremely* quickly which was a welcome change from using a standard oven for things like personal pizzas/garlic breads! There is, however, one important thing we didn't think about when we considered it to replace our toaster though: safety. With a standalone toaster our kids, down to even our 6yo, could make their toast themselves in the morning. But with this one the front glass gets extremely hot, the grates you put the bread on are of course very hot, the top of the unit is hot, and the surrounding inside is hot. All this is to say that where I used to just make some toast and slap it on a plate, I now have to have oven mitts on just for toast now, and our kids are no longer allowed to make their own. That said, it's nice to be able to make as many as 6 slices at once! The air fryer actually worked more quickly than my standalone Chefman which was a welcome surprise! Just some things to consider for this unit.

I was excited to see this product to free up counter space. It being said it does have a pretty large footprint but it still less than what would be taken up by a toaster oven and a air fryer. As a small counter oven it works really well. Controls are easy and logical. It comes with about every cooking accessory you could imagine (short a built in rotisserie) so it will handle almost any job. The only real draw back I can find is as a air fryer. It typically takes 20% longer than a compatible capacity air fryer. Not sure if it’s because of the area size vs a standard air fryer or not but the what a suppose. The end result of frying is the same just takes a bit longer. Bottom line is if your space constrained still is a great option

KitchenAid - Digital Countertop Oven with Air Fry - Black Matte The KitchenAid Air Fry is a neat compact air fryer that has a very classy look to go along with its very nice build quality. I really like the look of this Fryer with its minimum bezels and glass front door. There is a real nice feel when closing the front door and this carries over to the clean layout of the controls. Overall this is a very nice small package. Included with the Fryer is a broil pan with its own rack, a larger basket and one main rack. This is a compact oven with one main fan and doesn’t take up much counter space. There is so much that this Fryer can do it is easy to just use it each day and not use our bigger oven. Which is very nice since cleanup here is way easier than our regular oven. It is a regular oven, air fryer, a toaster oven and convection baking oven. And this brings up one of my main complaints which is a lack of instructions. For those used to modern Air Fryers this maynot be a problem but for new users a recipe book would have been a nice addition. The controls are simple enough and for very simple meals it's mostly a set and forget to get going. But a little help on the more advanced meals would have been a nice value add. My only other complaint is the fan is a bit noisy. Not too much that it takes away from the whole package but enough that you will hear it. The final results you will get with this oven will get better after you learn which mode you want to use and the cooking time you select. It has preset defaults that help get you going so that is very helpful. All it takes is a bit of practice but the end results can be very good. Air Fryers tend to get hotter near the fan so it can burn slightly at the back of the oven. What you find is this is just how they work and doesn’t really take away from the quality you will get. The more you use it and get used to it the better results you can expect. I think this is a great addition that updates most kitchens not just because it looks so nice but it really helps to make quick great tasting meals.

Adult Air Fryer, Feeds a Family

Alton Brown recently tweeted that there is no such thing as "air fried food", but there is such a thing as a countertop convection oven. I like this thought as I think appliances like this one are the more mature versions of the air fryer. They do more than one thing, the convection action is more even and makes things crispy and cleanly cooked, and this particular one fits a full-size cake pan or muffin tin. The exterior size is a little on the large size, so you're sacrificing quite a bit more space than your traditional 4-6 qt air fryers, or a regular toaster. It's larger even than a toaster oven. But it DOES do all those things. The mix of analog controls - a knob to select function, and then push buttons for other controls is interesting, but not off-brand for kitchen aide, and they feel like they will hold up to repeated use. I also find this larger oven far easier to clean out than my previous ones. My only complaint is that the door flipping down, which probably makes sense as a place to set hot food items, means you usually end up with lots of food debris on the door. The timer alarm is just a tad quiet as well. Adding in Dehydration is an easy addition to this oven since all the correct features are already there. This feels better made than some of the similar air fryer/countertop convection ovens by competing brands. Although you do still struggle to get away from the pasticy feel. Overall it works well, and I would recommend this unit to others, especially with families, or if you're looking to consolidate from multiple appliances.

My gas stove broke during the pandemic and I could not get anyone in to repair so I purchased this to tide me over until I could. Turns out, this little oven is perfect for my needs. My burners still work but my oven now stores large skillets! This counter top oven is great for everything from toasting to airfrying. I've even baked a sheetcake in it. It was a great buy.

For years, I have been telling people how a convection oven can double as an air fryer. Fast forward to today and voila. We have a device that does both. I no longer need a separate device for my girlfriend's air frying needs. I have been testing this kitchen aid, oven/air fryer for a week and I like it but it's missing two little things. Starting with the good stuff. - The Matte black looks really good. - It came with everything I needed in the box. Convection oven, baking pan, roasting rack and an air fry rack. Other brands I tested excluded some of these components. -  The controls were easy to use. Just twist one knob to select the type of cooking (toast, bake, Air Fry, etc) and another knob for temperature. - Everything I made in it cooked really fast and it all tasted great.   The not so good part. - You will definitely need to invest in oven mitts or you will get burned. When you open the oven door the oven rack is recessed and doesn't automatically pull out. - There is a light inside the oven,  which is great but it only turns on when the oven is preheating or cooking. There is no button to turn it on or off manually. With all that being said, I definitely still recommend this oven / Air fryer for anyone looking to upgrade their oven, air fryer or both.

    Multitasking countertop oven

This countertop oven is compact and feature-rich. It can of course broil, bake, toast, dehydrate, along with a bagel setting, and also has a dedicated air fry setting. The provided air fryer tray allows the convected air to flow freely around your food to create the perfectly crisp texture that is desired in an air fryer. The tray is a mesh metal tray and is NOT nonstick which did not present an issue for me, but if used with greasy or lightly oiled foods, could result in a real nightmare to clean. The oven will accommodate up to a 9x13 pan, but make sure you are including the handles on the pan when you are measuring to see if it will fit. The toast feature has multiple darkness or “shade” settings with an adjustable timer. I toasted at shade 2 for 2.5 minutes and shade 4 for 2.25 minutes and saw very little difference between them though shade 4 began to greatly darken the edges of my toast, with almost no effect to the center. The convection oven feature works well as I used to it cook pork chops and took only 3.5 minutes to heat to 400*. I have used a countertop oven as my primary means of cooking for many years and while this can accommodate a decent-sized pan, I feel you would be limited by its internal height as to what you could make in it. The screen is easy to read and the dials are intuitive. The maximum time this oven can run in convection mode is 2 hours, so if you happened to need to cook something for a longer time you will need to adjust the timer after 2 hours have elapsed. For a small batch of brownies or a side dish this oven will do great! I also enjoyed being able to air fry a decent amount of food for 2 adults at once. You will want an oven liner for the bottom though because if you use the air fry feature with the provided pan you will find your oven covered in crumbs before long as well as a means of protecting it from any dishes that may bubble over or spill.
