It won't rust! Most importantly....it scrapes the edge of your bowl while mixing! What a fantastic convenience! You must get this!

I love using this tool with my stand mixer. It scrapes the side of the bowl and mixes the ingredient very well.

I bought this to replace an old one. The rubber scraper reaches the side of the bowl so that it mixes your batter without having to manually scrap the sides of the bowl to get what the standard attachment can't reach. This is my go-to attachment.

Bought this to complement my 5-quart "Queen of Hearts" tilt-head stand mixer. The standard flat beater is great for most tasks, like mixing coarse ingredients or shredding cooked meat, but doesn't get what's stuck to the sides of the bowl. This flex-edge beater will help with that. It's great for using with cake mixes or anything really creamy or sticky, as it constantly swipes around the bowl to get as much of the mix as it can. Will have to mix at lower speeds, since going too high can fling ingredients out of the bowl. This metal beater is coated for durability and for easy cleaning. I did notice that when mixing a buffalo chicken dip, the ingredients in the hot sauce lightly stained the silicone edge of the beater. Not a huge deal, as I am sure the beater will last a long time. The flex-edge beater is great to have, and you won't have to physically scrape the bowl yourself with a spatula. Just make sure the height is set correctly on your mixer.

Every year I enjoy making divinity and this is my first year to use my KitchenAid. I was trying to figure out how to get my eggs whipped to stiff peaks and not have to stand at the mixer with a spatula and then I ran across the Flex-Edge Beater. Let me tell you it is the best product around to scrape the bowl as you go. It was wonderful.

This is a must have for your mixer. I saw it advertise on TV and bought it with my mixer purchase. It really does the job. My daughter is just getting into baking and with this I don't have to worry about her reaching in to scrap the bowl while mixing it is done for you. She has used it for cookie dough so far with great results.

This beater didn't come with my mixer so I added it. I tried it and it works terrifically well. No need to scrape with a spatula at all. I think this will be my favorite "go to" beater - unless I need a dough hook, of course.

This beater works just like it says. I like the way it 'cleans' around the bowl as it moves. Bought it on a whim because of the good price and am glad I did! I think you will like it too.

This is an excellent product. It scrapes the bowl just as it says it will do. This has made baking a little easier. It is also easy to clean.

Ended up not fitting our kitchen aid mixer model (our mixer was to large) but gave it to my mother in law who has the smaller mixer. Works like a charm.

This is the best invention ever. I purchased one for myself as well as my daughter, who broke her previous Kitchen Aid when the spatula she was using got caught in the beater. This eliminates the need to stick a spatula into the bowl!

Great idea to get all the sides into the mix. It cleans the sides clean so you don't have to stop and scrape.
