    I'm on my second flex edge beater. I love the way it works initially but over time the edge begins to pull away and eventually falls off leaving the beater without the extra portion to scrape the sides. These are pricey to continually replace, seems to be a design flaw.

    Does what it is supposed to do, but be warned that the rubber flange causes the paddle to fling batter out of the bowl much more so than the regular paddle, so use the splash guard that comes with the Kitchen Aid when you use this one.

    Bought the wrong item. This works for flip top mixer only. I have the one that raises and lowers the bowl. It for the attachment piece, but it was too short for our bowl. So it you have the flip version, it's a nice and heavy quality paddle.
