I bought this after seeing one used in a cooking demo and I was in awe of how clean the sides of the bowl were without scraping. I have made three different types of cookie dough with this attachment and I have had to scrape the bowl after each. My kitchen aid is 26 years old so I didn't know if I would be able to get the beater but the mixer model number was listed as being compatible with the beater.
