Love this attachment !! It makes the best ice cream.

After making five batches of ice cream, within two months of owning it, the plastic piece broke. When it was working, it was absolutely amazing and made beautiful ice cream. I will be reaching out to the manufacturer to see if there’s a replacement or a better option.

The attachment is incredibly user-friendly. It attaches smoothly to the mixer and the setup is straightforward. However, it's important to remember that the bowl needs to be frozen for at least 15 hours before use, so some planning is required. The churning process is mostly hands-off, allowing you to focus on other tasks while your dessert is being prepared.

The product is functional & very easy to use. I have had it for awhile now & used it several times. The only thing I noticed a little cheap is the rubber insert that helps secure it to the mixer is pulling away in one spot. I would still recommend it though.

Bought while on sale over the holidays and I made my first batch of ice cream today following the recipie from the instructions. Fairly easy to use and is a straight-forward process. I like the way the bowl is different than traditional ice cream makers; no needing ice and salt on the outside portion of the bowl. Just put it in the freezer. Getting the ice cream out of the bowl when done is fairly easy just using a spatula to transfer it to another container. It comes out soft so if you like your ice cream a little harder, put in in the freezer until it's the consistency which suits you. I don't recommend using a metal scoop to get it out of the mixing bowl because of the possible damage to the unit. I do recommend reading the manual before you start. I'll see how it holds up over time since I love ice cream and will be making loads of it.

You can't go wrong with KitchenAid, especially with the mixer attachments!!! Who wants ice cream that's several weeks old from the store when you can have it fresh from home, with the exact flavors you decide? I know what I'll take!!! :)

Haven’t used it yet however it s emus to be of good quality. Instructions are quite clear and attachment is easy to use . I tested just haven’t made the ice cream yet

Great and quick icecream maker except the paddle attachment is cheap quality and breaks easy and have to purchase a whole new maker.

I love ice cream and I wanted to make natural ones and this is the best attachment for that. Easy to use

This piece made making ice cream fun. It is very enjoyable to make the recipe we want, especially without adding sugar, and to create new recipes. Thank you to KitchanAid for saving us from eating industrial ice creams made with many preservatives and poor quality ingredients. It is a very good advantage not to pay high prices especially for the ice cream machine.

Was questioning if bowl/paddle would fit my mixer but both fit perfectly. Made ice cream to a perfect soft serve consistency from bowl. For firmer ice cream, transfer to freezer bowl to allow freezer to firm the ice cream.

Fits perfectly. Easy to use. Make sure this fits your specific model and make sure the liquid inside is fully frozen before using.

This works exactly as described just make sure that you follow the instructions. I also highly suggest getting the KitchenAid Ice cream recipe book, it can be found on Amazon

Absolutely love my ice cream maker. Used it 2 days after I got it. Washed it day I bought it and froze it for 2 day then made some real rum raisin ice cream. If you’re on the wall about it, get it and thank me later!

Love this attachment! I have made both regular and vegan ice cream with this attachment. It works so well - just make sure you freeze it completely before use and have the paddle running as your pour your ice cream base into it.

Very easy to use ice cream maker. The grandkids loved the ice cream that I made. The nicest part is that I can use organic products and grass fed dairy products.

We love making homemade ice cream using the best quality. We make single and double batches. Prefer to make the single batches.
