From the first day it started then shut down when I changed cooking modes. I tested for a week turning on for 20 minutes and it worked fine. I didn't return it right away thinking I was doing something wrong. Plugging and unplugging it for an hour or the next day it seems to work. I will likely return it under warranty. It will not toast bread. It does burn bread very fast though. When it works it does great.

Obnoxiously loud clicking timer whenever you roast anything. And the price?! Ridiculous. I think my wife bought this to match our other KitchenAid appliances but I’d much happier to see it flying out the window and any other brand sitting on the counter
