it heats quickly, but does not take regular size pots. it takes a while to learn its heating properties.

I did not use this small appliance more than about 10 times in 4 months and it just stop working. Luckily I bought the protection plan so I plan on returning it for repair or replacement.

Took a very long time to toast with a very loud annoying ticking sound the whole time. The family hated it. Also the shelves were crooked.

Toaster and broil take forever. To cook a grilled cheese it took over 15 minutes!

Lots of features but a bit bulky. Very versatile and good even heat distribution.

Bought this to have a toaster/small oven combined; wanted a bit more features than in a traditional toaster oven. But this didn't toast well.

The oven heated evenly but the timing knobs broke quickly.

Would not fix in the cabinet in the RV so we never used it

Had seen reviews of poor door alignment, but decided to take a chance. Sure enough, my unit had poor alignment too. Mine wasn't too terrible and I was able to fix it acceptably, so I'll likely keep the oven as it seems to perform fairly well so far. A little slow in the toast department, but toast is relatively evenly done once you figure out the best rack positioning. Shouldn't be buying a toaster oven for toast anyway in my opinion. Better than average with frozen pizza which is my primary use for this oven. Definitely wouldn't keep at full price, but on-sale price makes it worth while for the most part.

I use this regularly for cooking daily meals. One year after purchase the toast options stopped working. One year and three months after purchase now the broiler option is no longer working.

VERY disappointed. I bought this at the very end of November, and last week, the function knob stuck in place. Then no matter what type of function you selected--bake, toast, etc.--the machine wouldn't turn on. I wasted $80 on a high-end, brand new toaster over to throw it away. Why? Because Best Buy won't take it back. 30 day policy means we have to throw this out. Next time I'll go shop at Costco, where they have much better return policies. Costco would never let their custom get stuck with a lemon.

Sad to say after less than a year that this toaster oven began to give me problems. It got to the point where I just wanted to make toast and it couldn’t even do that. The coils stopped turning bright orange entirely right before I redeemed my protect plan. Would not recommend this product, especially for the cost.

Toast function failed less than a year and everything else barely works. Would definitely not buy another kitchen aid product.

My last toaster oven (different brand) lasted over a decade this one lasted 1.5 years unacceptable for the money. While it worked it was good enough not great slow to get up to heat to toast. Work around turn it on get it warmed up before you try to toast.

This does not cook evenly. On top burns every time no matter what I try food wise. Cakes, pizza, meat, all burns either on top or bottom.

This toaster failed, but a quick call to KitchenAid cust svc & they replaced it no questions asked.

I bought this to bake things and I am disappointed> it takes much longer than the recipes recommend the cooking times say.

The door was not even. It was lopsided. I did not have opportunity to utilize this product.

It seemed like it was going to be a great oven. However, it cooked uneven and was very slow in the process.
