This handheld mixer works great until it doesn’t. I seldom use my stand mixer because this handheld works so well. The first one I owned worked for almost 2 years; the second one worked for 14 months. There is a plastic piece that holds the beaters – on both mixers one of the plastic pieces pushed in so far that they no longer hold the beater. It is pushed so far in that you can pull it out with any type of tool. It is a shame they do not last longer because they do work so incredibly well. I am looking for a different brand to replace the most recent broken one.

I was disappointed. My old mixer has more speed then this one. Thinking that a KitchenAid would be better than my 30 year old had mixer I was shocked that the speed was so-o-o slow

I have now had this mixer for a year and have used it many times. I am disappointed in this mixer and am now looking for something else to replace it. Just made a box cake mix today and on high setting it barely mixed the cake mix compared to previous mixers I have used. Usually after 2 minutes on medium a cake mix is very well mixed and starting to get a little "fluffy". Not happening with this mixer.

The speed on high was slower than my 25 year old hand mixer. It took forever to make whipped cream.

I was disappointed to see how thin the beaters are. All of my kitchen appliances are Kitchen Aid and red. They seem more like a whisk. Also, they feel like they are not fitted right because they seem to collide with each other. It's not a smooth whipping motion. Because I don't use a mixer that much, I'll keep it, but sorry to see Kitchen Aid is putting out such an insubstantial product. You get what you pay for and it was inexpensive.

Works great, but struggle a little trying to figure out which sides each beater goes on - need my reading glasses every time.

I am a little disappointed in the performance of this product to be honest. I expected this brand to be better. It really lacks power! The beaters are super poor quality and I'm glad I had some better ones left over from a previous brand that work with it. I would not purchase this brand again. I think my last one was a Black and Decker and I wish I had purchased that again.

So I have the classic standing mixer from kitchen aid and a hand mixer by Hamilton beach. I figured this kitchen aid hand mixer would be more powerful than the brand mentioned above but I was surprised that it is not and actually this latest hand mixer feels a bit flimsy and too light in weight for my preferences. All in all it will do but do your research before you purchase.

I'm disappointed in the power of this mixer. I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than mixing cake batter or similar consistency foods. I couldn't get it to give the whipping cream peaks. I love kitchenaid products but wish I would have purchased a more powerful version.

This is the Worst mixer i have ever owned!I wouldn’t buy it again.

The speed is less than desired. I could have used a fork to get better speed and mixing than this provided. Poor blending/mixing due to cheap useless beaters. As I stated a fork did a better job than this. I ended up returning this to buy a Hamilton Beach.

The mixer is nice and I really wanted to love it, but you are really getting what you’re paying for - Not very strong to mix bigger masses of dough or cream. Returned within the 2 weeks window.

It works fine as a mixer, but lacks speed for whipping eggs to a foam in a decent amount of time. It took about 30 minutes to foam egg whites. Good buy at sale price.

Definitely not the best hand mixer I've owned. I've had much cheaper ones that I felt did the job better. The fastest speed is more like a medium speed. The beaters feel cheap

I thought for a KitchenAid product this would have been really good but it’s not powerful at all! I have a black and decker and that is more powerful than this. Very disappointed.

I should have done my homework before making this purchase. The power of the motor is quite weak. Good enough for beating eggs, but not much else.

These it’s the worst mixer I had aver purchased. We they want me to Erie more. But have nothing nice to said about this products.,

Had less than a year and the speed switch broke and is now stuck in high, looking for a replacement

bought this to replace another hand mixer and are very dissapointed in the lack of power. but not much variety to pick from.

This product only has a slow to medium speed. Not my Best Buy from Best Buy
