It has 7 speeds and a quick shut off. Strong enough to whip heavy whipping cream and not to loud. It also has a lock in place switch for the electrical plug. Very lightweight for it size and power. And the handle has a nice grip with a rubber patting so your fingers won’t slide off. Love it so far.

Old hand mixer was noisy and would not stand when not in use. This mixer is surprisingly quiet, even at high speeds, the slow start is great, and you can stand it up. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for!

Absolutely love this mixer. We have searched and searched for a mixer that has a "sane" starting speed. All the previous ones we've purchased have the lowest setting set so fast that it blows all your ingredients right out of the bowel. If you bake or mix a lot of dry ingredients, you'll really appreciate this mixer. We use it a lot for mashed potatoes and it works great. No more splattering things about! The high speed is adequate, and at first I thought it was a bit slow, but it gets the job done with no complaints. On top of everything else, it's QUIET! That was a nice surprise feature. Can't express what a pleasure this mixer is to use. It has a great finish and a cord that you can easily lock in one direction or the other to keep it out of your way.

This mixer is wonderful! It’s slow-start speed is perfect for blending brownie mix. It is well-built and comfortable to use. It’s not too heavy either.

If cooking is a part of your routine, this is a must own item. Great for beating scrambled eggs, mixing pancakes, cake mixing, etc, in a breeze. It has an automatic mixer with different speeds without holding a button like it’s competitors. Most important is the quality of the product. The motor is smooth and vibration is soft on hands. Very slick design. It’s Kitchen Aid and their quality speaks of itself.

Do like the brand and will purchase other items from the Kitchen Aid folks. The design is smooth surfaced. with little or no edges to hold batter or catch wipes while the mixer is being used or at cleanup. Ergonomically efficient, it feels good in the hand. i would buy one for a gift for people who like to cook or bake.

Purchased to replace our old KitchenAid 3-speed hand mixer, which worked fine but was underpowered. This 7-speed model has plenty of power for anything you would want a hand mixer for.

This hand blender is a nice size and works well. It's easy to handle and washes with ease.

I love KitchenAid products. Good quality for the money. This hand mixer works very well and looks sleek. My old hand mixer had the thick whisk blades so I wasn't sure this would do the job efficiently but it hasn't failed me yet. Love it!

So in the event you don't feel like firing up the big guns, this little guy is PERFECT for a quick mix. It has the power necessary to get those batters and dips properly incorporated. (shout out to Martha Stewart). It is sleek, sturdy and well made. What more could you want?

Love this as an alternative to my countertop mixer for small "jobs". As always with KitchenAid products, quality is evident and function is great. It is powerful enough to make really fluffy mashed potatoes! I also like the sleek gray color.
