This mixer feels flimsy and shakes during use in a way that my old, cheaper, but no longer made, mixer never did. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything better without taking a huge jump in price. So this one seems the best of a bad lot.

Very plastic feeling. Lighter than I thought. Not sure it will survive an accidental drop.

It mixes a small batch well. Not great if mix is too think. Blades aren't that fast.

Haven't used it for that long yet. So far so good.

Here is the thing Incase kitchen aid read this..I liked everything except for the sticks being to short for ethnic food making not all people want to mix egg in a bowl we need longer sticks thanks

It works great mixing cool aid. That's about it. This mixer will not make mashed potatoes or anything of consistancy.

Bought this to replace a Black & Decker, what a difference! Finally a mixer with an actual LOW speed setting. This thing has all the power and speed settings that we could ask for. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and family.

Just feels a little bit powerless. Got the silver but they didnt send the “architect” so idk how that works.

We use this mixer for jobs that don't merit pulling out our big stand mixer. If we're making a big layer cake, I'd probably drag out the big mixer. Quick batch of cupcakes? I'd go for the hand mixer. This mixer has a couple of unique things to make life a little easier. First off is the handle. The underside is squishy! I tend to have a death grip on it while I mix. so it's nice to have the padding. Also you can lock the power cable into one side or the other of the back of the handle. It took me a while to figure that out. I thought it was something to unlock the cable for cleaning. It also starts slowly and comes up to speed over a couple seconds to keep you from spraying whatever you're mixing around the room. The motor is strong and would handle just about anything you throw at it. I found it to be a little on the loud side, but I don't have much to compare it to. I was surprised at how loud it is though. Like many mixers it comes with a button to press to eject the tools on it. Construction feels a little heavy on the plastic, but the color is really nice looking.
