Solid construction, a quiet but powerful motor and enough colors to match any decor. This is top of the line. My wife has not stopped baking since she got it. Everyone I have talked to that has a Kitchen Aid says they would never buy anything else.

This thing is getting lots of use

It gets used a few times per week at least. Home made ice cream, cookies, shredded chicken, zoodles, you name it - this thing performs flawlessly and effectively. Was kind of shocked at the price before buying, but it is worth every penny!
