my wife uses this mixer to make a large amount of cakes for her baking business. It is the perfect size bowl and all the accessories make it so easy for her to do her work. Excellent mixer!

Super cute, slick, solid red color. I bought this mixer in June 2024, it’s now February 2026 and halfway through a kneading of dough the motor started to smell like it was burning and it started to smoke. I use this mixer once a month until November then it’s used about one a week for November and part of December. Last November the motor started to slow a little making macaroons but after turning it off for a while it went back to normal. I’m pretty sure it’s dead now.

Kitchen aid is replacing a 30-year-old model, that just died. If we get the same years of service, it's a win!

This was a dream purchase. Love the color options and the ease of use. Really like that it came with the poor shield included. Can't wait to get back to baking.

I never understood the enthusiasm some people have for Kitchen Aid mixers. Then I got to use one in a cooking class I attended, and I had to admit that they are impressive. I'm still breaking mine in, but so far I am pleased by how efficient and easy to use it has been. It has thorough and powerful mixing action, and operation is simple and inuitive. I am looking forward to adding a few accessories.

I purchased this as a gift was unsure of the color "caviar" . It ended up being a shimmery black color, which is perfect for our current kitchen and any future kitchens we may bake in!
