This is just what I have been waiting years to get for myself. However, I had a Mixmaster that I purchased over thirty years ago and could not justify buying something new as long as it still worked. Everyone I know that owns a KitchenAid absolutely raves about it including my grandson-in-law who is a chef. I purchased one for he and my granddaughter as a shower gift when they married a few years ago and over the years I have purchased different attachments for them so that he can show off his skills.

Works great Easy to use, bought some accessories to go with. Only thing I don't like is it takes up a lot of room. Great quality, well made.

Have had 2 in the last 20 years. Nothing was wrong withthe first one. I just wanted a different color and more power. The old one was gifted to my daughter. This one is a wedding gift. Can't complain about anything with this one or the others. The tilt stand I use now is great. The tilt head mixer is/was a workhorse. No lack in power. So I can assure anyone this one will preform just as good or if not better than my older version.

I purchased a larger Kitchenaid mixer but too heavy for little ole me, so I returned it and this one is perfect and I can still use the same attachments.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased this classic stand mixer. I've been using hand mixers and whisks, but thought it was time to invest in an actual stand mixer. I do not use it often, but it's quite handy and cuts down the prep time exponentially. Glad I purchased!

I got this for my other half for Christmas. At first she didn't like the idea because she thought I just wanted her to cook, LOL. Now, she uses this thing about twice a week making anything and everything she can think of. She absolutely loves it. This thing has plowed through just about anything she can throw at it. It is a lot of money for a mixer but this thing is definitely worth it. I expect it to run for another 15 to 20 years. Love Kitchenaid.

If you're set on a stand mixer, should you buy this one? Maybe. It's not designed for huge amounts of heavy dough or constant use. It's built well, but it's not an industrial machine. It audibly strains and thumps with a double helping of cookie dough (around 25 oz of flour) and while kneading wet, thick pizza dough. With that sort of load, there's no speed difference between setting 6 and 10, though of course you'd only knead at setting 2 anyway

It is too good. I am happy to buy this. Initially I was thinking it’s complicated but it so easy to use it.

I have had this product before and I am glad the quality is the same. Makes mixing much easier than a hand held mixer.

Right in terms of: - sound (we can still hear the tv over the mixer motor) fairly quiet operation. - attachments are the same as the 5 quart mixer and position is the same therefore you don't really gain much mixing space, if any at all, from 4.5 to 5 quart mixer making this the perfect choice for us. We do miss the handle on the bowl but the new design works well just the same. Customer service is great as well. A great classic mixer! This one will make a perfect gift and looks even better on your counter...

I love this mixer, I've used it to make cookies, cakes and it can even handle pretzel dough!

This was an awesome buy. Very user friendly and it makes the baking from scratch process a lot quicker.

I like that there are multiple attachments that can be used with this machine. A classic mixer with great durability.

Got this for my sister because she loves to bake - at least once a week. The machine is ready to use right out of the box, just needs a little bit of setting up. It is also very easy to use and more importantly - easy to clean. So far, she has used it to mix cake batters, cookie dough, etc, etc. So we have gotten a lot of utility from it - it saves her a lot of time+energy (she used to use a hand mixer before this)....and the cakes are coming out of the oven faster than we can eat them! I absolutely recommend this KitchenAid mixer for all your baking needs, regardless of whether you are an amateur or expert at baking.

There are fancier mixers from KitchenAid; but this one works great. Already made amazing bread, cakes, etc.
