This was bought to replace my original Kitchen Aid mixer which made loaves of bread every week and made tons of cookies, cakes, and other desserts and lasted 26 years.

Powerful, but loud

Knowing all this, I likely would not have "upgraded". That says, it functions well and is certainly more powerful than what I had.

Never Owned A Stand Mixer.

I really love this mixer and am spending a lot more time baking. It is very heavy though. I keep it in a cabinet when not in use.
