Updated the old white basic model for this red more powerful model. Nothing was wrong with the other 10 year old model. Just the new one was the color and a good price upgrade. Excellent mixer!

I’ve been waiting, asking and requesting for years for a Kitchenaid mixer and after all the hints with no Kitchenaid present in my possession, I finally gave in when it went on sale and bought myself one. The best investment I’ve gotten myself in a long time. Of course, I didn’t settle for the Artisan but the Professional 5 Plus! It’s the Goldilock’s version of the three bears for home bakers and cook. So far it’s been used daily from cookies to cake, pizza and mashed potatoes. Thank you to Pinterest for the multitude of ideas on how to use a Kitchenaid and getting the most out of it.

We have been making all of the Christmas goodies this year with this and it has done great. Only complaint is that it is a bit loud at higher speed settings.

I believe this model is being discontinued and the price has been reduced. This model has all steel gears for durability and 450 watts which makes it capable of larger loads. Heavy duty machine @ a great price.

I bought this to replace my smaller version as an upgrade. After 7 years my smaller KitchenAid mixer is still going. Aside from beater attachments, all my other attachments fit which is a plus. NO Cons

Bought 2 of these for my daughters for Christmas. Being an avid baker myself, it is a staple piece of equipment for every kitchen. Love, love, love this product. I have 2 myself.
