Fantastic buy. Can do anything from make bread, to pasta, to sausages; and its so smooth, too

I bought it on sale right after the holidays. Its the professional grade and cost just as much as the regular kitchen aid mixer. Money well spent and works great!

Although advertised as 450 watts, it was 525 watts (even better) though not mentioned, bowl being much wider than our older model of the same volume, old bowl-related attachments were not transferable (a point which should have been mentioned in the description). bowl rim shield was not included, but it is essential. Separately-ordered shield did not fit (take care to specifically order the one for this particular model). Actually quieter than older model (and doesn't "thump" like the older one), but precision gears and bearings would go a long way toward allowing listening to a CD while using the unit (too much to ask at this price point).

Excellent price when onsale. Works good but not many accessories included. 525 watt power which is higher than advertised. A bit noisy though.

Quality build, looks like it will last a good long time. Easy to use, Many add on options and accessories, very versatile. Happy with the purchase.

5 quart capacity makes it easy to make bread for my family of 7. Works great for cookie dough, or even to mix meat for meat loaf. Whisk wished perfectly for being egg whites. Beautiful color.

I got the Kitchenaid Professional 5 plus mixer from the black Friday sale. It is a great mixer. I have used it several times for bread making and it does not slow down or get hot at all while kneading the bread dough. It does have a gear noise but not that loud. I like that it has the metal gearset in it for durability. While the plastic gears are quieter the metal gears are much more durable. This is a well made mixer. I would definitely buy again.

I love this mixer. Started making homemade bread and my recipe makes six good size loaves and the mixer mixes like a dream. Easy to use and clean

Great product, heavier than I expected. Mixes well, I make an apple cake with vet little liquid so I’ve burned out a few mixers. No problem for this one

I’ve waited 11 years to get a stand mixer! I had a hard time justifying the price, but my hand mixer started struggling when I was making a cheesecake for Thanksgiving, and I couldn’t pass up the Black Friday deal. This mixer is definitely worth it! Easy setup and consistent performance.
