This item has been something I wanted for a long time and the black Friday deal was too good to pass. Already have used it and love the bigger bowl and that it raises it up gives so much more space when you add ingredients verse the tilt head. My husband loves the grinder attachments for grinding up meat for burgers.

This mixer has a lot of power. The 5 qt capacity is nice!

KitchenAid professional for $199 on sale and used $50 gift card so aid less than $170 with tax. I have wanted one of these for a long time and this was a steal!

I purchased this as a gift to my boyfriend in his favorite colors as he is a tremendous baker. He has made numerous cakes to perfection with it so far as the batter is exceptional and so much quicker than doing it manually. The one thing I wish it came with was a supply bag to put in all the extra attachments it comes with. My next step is to purchase a cover as it does pick up a lot of dust.

Fantastic home appliance that every kitchen should have. I bought this for my Sons wedding present. I have had one for more than 30 years and it still works is good now as when I received it for my wedding present. Definitely would buy again

Absolutely love this mixer! Put off buying one for a long time but am so glad I finally made the purchase. I thoroughly enjoy cooking/ baking, and I haven't found anything that this mixer can't plow through with ease. The only down side I have found is it does have a tendency to create a dusty mess when adding flour. I just add it in smaller amounts to help reduce dust.

Bought it for my mom for a Christmas gift. Since it’s not Christmas I don’t know how good it is. But Best Buy keeps bothering me to review it. So there you go.

This mixer looks intimidating, but my 13 year old was able to figure it out. There is still flour that surrounds the mixer so I'll probably invest in the splash guard. I purchased it during Black Friday. I would not have paid retail for this since I'm not a baker. But it is the same model used in professional kitchens.

I purchased this mixer as a gift. It is super heavy duty and feels like it will last a lifetime. It has already been used for several batches of cupcakes! I know we will get plenty of use out of this. The only real downside is that it does take up a lot of counter space...and it feels a little too heavy and bulky to be easily moved around and stored in cabinets.

The KitchenAid Professional 500 Series Stand Mixer is an excellent mixer for home or professional use. I had previously owned a different model, but the Pro 500 Series beat it out! I've made several things using this mixer since I bought it, and it makes cooking and baking a pleasure. I highly recommend this stand mixer to anyone who is serious about cooking and baking.

mother is an avid Kitchen Aid user. Her mixer was dying, so I sought out the best bang for my buck in this Mixer. She is very pleased with its performance on heavy doughs etc.

super buy and a great kitchen appliance, wifw has wanted one for a long time and when the PRO was advertised for that price she dragged me straight to Best Buy

I purchased this mixer as part of the Black Friday $199 deal. I couldn't believe the price. I already have the same mixer, purchased years ago, and thought I would get another for my son. I expected the quality to be the same. When I turned the mixer on, it made serious noises and not as a result of the beater hitting the side, etc. The motor was not smooth. Wow, what a shame! Great price, but you need some earplugs to run this one. If you have an older model, hang on to it.

I love my new mixer. It is so easy to use. It's a bit heavy but I don't plan on moving it

Second purchase of this item. This one was A gift for our son who likes to cook. All he had before was an immersion blender! He has stated how much he loves cooking with it now. initially found the bowl lift a little cumbersome but now used it at least 3 times a week.
