Love my mixer! have had it for 3.5 years. I make cookies and cakes every week. Mixed pasta dough many times. I even mix ground beef to make meatballs. It is very powerful and easy to use and clean. I feel as I have an industrial mixer, that is how sturdy it is. I have the vegetable and cheese grinder attachment and it works great!

I purchased this gift as a birthday gift for my wife. The first time I came home, she was ecstatic at the time it saved. The product is built very sturdy, and is very easy to use.

Borrowed someone's Kitchen aid mixer first to try it out before spending so much for one. No regrets. Met and exceeded all my expectations. Powerful, easy to clean. Great results!

Me and my wife have been seeing these kitchen aid mixers around for a long time now. We have always wanted one but weren't sure if we would get full use out of it for the price. I decided to surprise my wife with one for Christmas and couldn't be happier with the result. It has only been a little over a week since Christmas and I don't think there has been a day were we haven't used our mixer. It does everything from cookies, to fresh baked breads, to even mixing up ground beef for delicious burgers. All this and we haven't even purchased any of the many attachments you can buy for the device. Me and my stomach agree this was a wise purchase, and one I would strongly recommend to anyone.

We've now owned a couple of the KitchenAid mixers, and decided to trade up to a larger motor / bowl version. We never had any issues with the older models and so far this one is flawless as well.

I absolutely thrilled with my purchase of this Kitchen Aid Professional Stand Mixer. This is my first Kitchen Aid, I purchased this because people raved about its power, and I do make all my own sandwich bread and buns, pita, etc. homemade - and it's been everything I wanted in a stand mixer and more! I join them in raving about this machine! It's well worth the small price paid! Some people complained about how loud it is and while I do find it louder than a regular mixer, I'm not bothered in the least by the noise, and my husband easily sleeps through it so it's neither here nor there for me. You might like to invest in the paddle with the side scraper, but I haven't done it yet.. it might be nice, but haven't felt the dire need of it yet.. I'll probably buy it at some point in the future though.. just a nice thing. Do clean the bowl several times before use, I used a SOS pad, worked nicely.. there is some black machine type oil from the bowl being made in factory , it's no big deal though, comes off fine just know to invest some time making sure you got it all. There is nothing I can say in complaint, I absolutely love this machine. If you make your own breads and cakes and cookies for your family too, this machine is for you!

The stand mixer was superb and easy to use. It Blends the ingredients really well. When you put dry and wet ingredients it mix well.

Bought this as a gift for my son and his wife .They love it. They use it every day. Strong enough for making larger batches of baked goods. I have had my kitchen aid mixer since 1991 and it is still running strong!!

Bought this to replace an Artisan that was still running perfectly fine. I how powerful this is, as well as the lift for the bowl. Great for a big family and holiday cooking.

We bought this mixer specifically for a difficult to knead whole wheat bread recipe. The ample bowl, well designed dough hook, and powerful motor handle that task with ease.

I absolutely love my KitchenAid mixer! It's a great addition to any kitchen. It has made baking easier. I like that there are various attachments available for purchase, making it more than just a mixer. It's a little on the heavy side, but what can one expect from a machine with so much power? Plus, the red is a beautiful color!

Fits under the upper cabinets and since it is a lift bowl, I can just use it without having to move it around. 5 qt is sufficient. It can even just whip up a single egg!
