I have always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer and now I am one happy lady!!

For years, my wife and I had cheaper mixers (e.g. Sunbeam). They generally worked OK, and the motors held up fine, but the stands always seemed to break on us. They also weren't much to look at. After seeing this Kitchenaid mixer go on sale, we decided it was time to step up to a nicer and better-built unit. We have not regretted the decision - this mixer has handled everything we've thrown at it, the stand and bowl clamping mechanism are rock-solid, and it looks great too! The included beater accessories are also well-made and work great. If I had to find one thing to pick on, it's that the bowl capacity isn't huge... for bigger/double batches on some recipes, a little more capacity would be welcome. But apart from that, I'd highly recommend this mixer.

Bought this as a Christmas gift. It is a stunner. Looks sleek and professional. Gift receiver loved it. She uses it for other things than just mixing. Attachments open up a lot of possibilities.

I have been waiting to buy this mixer ... the right price came up and jumped! got several accessories and have been using it for pasta, baking and chopping...

Love the special blue color and the attachments are great.

This was an early Christmas gift for my husband and he just loves it- perfect size- he has been using it for EVERYTHING from mixing meatloaf to making homemade mashed potatoes to the snickerdoodle cookies he made last night

Couldn't pass on the great price. Lift bowl is better than tilt head.

What a great deal this was. This was a gift for my daughter in law as she had been hinting all year of wanting one. She loves it! she is now looking to adding more attachments as she is cooking up a storm.

It's a great mixer. Very powerful and gets the job done. I prefer the old style with the rising head vs the up/down bowl since I find it easier to take the bowl out or to remove material (dough for example) from the accessories into the bowl, but that's my opinion. Price was great on black Friday.

This I purchased for my daughter in law for her bridal gift. They have been married 6 months now and she uses it quite often. She loves the ease of the mixer. Can’t wait to add additional attachments for Christmas gift this year!

Only used it for egg whites so far but it whipped them up faster than my old mixer. I love the mixer’s quality and aesthetics. Got it at a fantastic Black Friday price, thanks, Best Buy!

This is my wife's favorite appliance. Making pizza dough and/or cookies is effortless. I only wish it was the version with the automatic bowl lift, but that's only because I'm lazy...

I love, love this thing, I do everything with it. I bake more cakes now, I even tried and succeeded in making some traditional Romanian sweets that require a lot of knitting. This was one of 5he best purchases I ever made.

My Wife absolutely loves it. In the past she would use a hand mixer when baking. This now saves hers a bunch of times and lets her easily try out many new recipes. This is a must have for any baker.

I use it several times a week. Holiday baking is a family tradition.
