Got it a a great combined offer. My girlfriend loves it.

I have been using a used Oster stand mixer for the last 20 years; the thing is probably 30 years old and still works well. I thought it was time for a new mixer and had my eye on a KitchenAid for a while. My aunt who is a consummate baker urged me to get one with the larger bowl, so when this was a deal of the day, I nabbed it. There’s nothing wrong with the machine per say. I think it just doesn’t work well for my preferences. Some things that bother me: the bowl lift makes pouring ingredients into the bowl difficult. It’s weird angles and usually I have to stop the mixer, drop the bowl to add ingredients and then restart it when before I could pour flour or liquids in while the machine ran. Also, when the beater is in, it is difficult to remove the bowl. It Is a down, dip sort of motion. I could remove the beater and let it sit in the bowl/mix, but that makes a mess. The beater doesn’t reach the sides well either. I do have to stop and mix in the sides frequently. Finally, there aren’t a lot of accessories for this model (like something to beat down the sides of the bowl, although I don’t think there’s one for this model), so I’d encourage purchasing one of their more popular mixers if accessories are what you’re looking for.

I bought this so that I could get the attachments to go along with it, mainly the meat grinder and pasta attachment. Beautiful product great quality I really like it.

Great mixer that will last generations. It's a Pro model will a 5 quart bowl. (Smaller bowl than the 600, but same motor) Got a stellar deal, so it was less than the standard stand mixer!

Wife has been asking for one for a few years but we just couldn't justify the price. Got this 5qt on sale at bestbuy online for 249 and what a great deal. Saves the elbow grease and she no longer has second thoughts about baking.

After about 6 years I upgraded my moms previous kitchen aid. She does a lot of baking and now she has two on her counter. She didn't want to get rid of the older model so she uses both for different things.

My husband purchased this for me for Christmas after I had hinted I needed one for baking. It is amazing and so very easy to.learn how to use even my girls do it now.when they cook!

Works great! Haven’t used it much and if you’re just making bread or cakes it’s a fantastic piece of machinery. Have not yet figured out what else to use it for.

My wife has used KitchenAid mixers for years and has never had a problem. Around the holidays the mixer gets a great deal of use and it works great.
