This mixer really made it easy to bake over the holidays. It has great power and love the raising/lowering mixing bowl option.

I am loving this new mixer. I've had a home version of Kitchen Aid mixer for over 25 years, with no problems. My husband did regrease the bearings after 25 years and it runs like new again. So why another one. We have a second place and I couldn't make some of our favorite recipes with a hand mixer. So when we saw this advertised at Best Buy, it was almost a no brainer. I love the color andthe bowl lift feature. It mixes twice as fast as my home version. I also like the larger bowl and larger attachments. Makes making double receipes a snap. So Happy with it, we bought another one as a gift for our son. It did take a minute to orient myself with the bowl lift feature, but now it's so easy to use.

Has helped make a lot of baked good goods including but not limited to cookies, bread, pies and more!

I have owned one of the first Kitchen Aid mixers and have enjoyed it very much. Since that time, other members of my family have had one also. We have been so happy with ours and this holiday I had the opportunity to buy one for a very special person who could never afford one and loves to cook and bake. She was so surprised and happy, she was totally speechless. She has already started using it. I got it on a very special deal making it possible for me to give her this wonderful gift. Thank you.

This has a ton of power and is very easy to use. We set it up right away and have been enjoying it ever since.

A definite upgrade from my old tilt-head model. More power makes this better for tough jobs, Lowering the bowl is also easier than lifting the head. A bit taller than my old machine. My wife loves it. She made hundreds of cookies with it this Christmas.

I had been wanting to buy it for years and was surprised by such quality and without a doubt, in addition to being functional, it became a beautiful decorative piece in my kitchen.

I have owned a KitchenAid mixer for over 20 years and love it. Bought one for my son & his girlfriend for Christmas. He loves the color and is looking forward to doing some baking again. Was able to purchase for a great price during a Best Buy sale.

Definitely a workhorse. Probably overkill for what I need, but I'm okay with that. Love the navy blue. It doesn't hit every point on the bowl, but pretty hard to beat the price.

I have zero complaints about this mixer! I love all the attachments I can use with it and is so easy to use!

Pros: This is a very powerful machine. My the attachments (food processor and meat grinder) work GREAT with this unit. Far superior to the Artesian 4.5 quart tilt head that I used to have (had to downsize years ago when I moved out of the country). When I was in the market for a new stand mixer I was ecstatic to see this on sale for cheaper than the Artesian unit. Higher capacity bowl. This is great for making bread dough and masa dough for tamales. Cons: No tilt head. It's a pain to add ingredients. You have to pull down the crank to move the bowl down. You have to pull the attachments down into the product to get it off, then leave it in the bowl as you remove the bowl. It's a bit odd and annoying. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have 10 years of use with the tilt-head version and was used to that. Scraping the sides of the bowl is also a pain since you can't tilt the paddles/whisk out of the way. With the larger capacity of this unit, I found that I needed to scrape down the sides more often. But it's harder to get to without the tilt head. I think a mixing attachment with a scraper would be beneficial but can't say for sure since I didn't buy one (they are sold separate and are $50). The lock in tab in the back to lock the bowl into place is awful. Getting the bowl in and out is annoying. I have to put it into the hooks on either side, then snap the back part down. Sometimes it's gets my powder ingredients all over. I don't like it. Cooking with my teenage daughter is not as fun, as she gets frustrated she can't get the bowl in and feels she has to ask for help. (She's a normal, able-bodied, intelligent, honors student and she says using this makes her feel dumb) I know some of the reviews say people get used to this, but I actually hate the way the bowl attaches. Hate it. I thought about removing or bending the tab, but figured there's a reason it should be on there, to stabilize the bowl or something. So decided to return this and go back to the artesian. For our low volume of use, and ease of use, we decided this model just isn't for us. I think this unit would be great for a serious baker but is just overkill for our level of use.

I really like using my mixer, I received this as a gift because I love to bake and use most of the attachments that came with it. Only con is that you’ll want to acquire more attachments.

This mixer works great. It's has the power to needed the thickest doughs and lots of attachments available.

Easy to use, like how the bowl goes up to the mixer head. Powerful motor. Great color to match my kitchen.

I LOVE my KitchenAid mixer!! Its the best at getting everything mixed to perfection! Heavy duty, sturdy and over all phenomenal performance! I recommend this to ANYONE that bakes or needs to mix stuff.

This KitchenAid mixer is one of the bet ones. It is very powerful when mixing. Has options to use several other attachments,like meat slicer, pasta maker, ice cream maker and so many more.Very easy to clean. I just love my new KitchenAid. Recommend a 10 rating.

I bought this mixer for my home business at a really great Black Friday price! I needed a larger mixer for my bigger orders and this mixer is already proving it's worth. I mixed up a single batch of my cookie recipe, and had room to have done a double batch. It mixed up very quickly as well. With the single batch, I had none of the ingredients flying out like I did with my smaller KitchenAid. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!
