I'm giving this item five stars because of (A) the price and (B) the name. All of those celebrity chefs on TV use KitchenAid, so how bad can it be? However, I feel obligated to point out that this item was purchased as a Christmas present and as of this date is still unopened and unused. If we encounter any unexpected issues, I will reflect that in an update.

Bought this for my wife. She loves cooking and told me about her Grandma's KITCHENAID since we started dating 2yrs ago. Black Friday sale had it $300 off. Amazing.

You can't go wrong with a KitchenAid mixer. Especially the pro series! Must have if you spend time in the kitchen.

Bought this mixer and was happy with it. Very disappointed when I found out that you cannot buy the beater with the rubber edge for it. The beater that comes with it leaves lots of unmixed dough around the outside of the bowl. Took it back and traded for an Artisan which has the good beater to wipe the bowl.

I have wanted an KITCHEN AID stand mixer for years, and settled for an OSTER and another brand. Now with this sale price and the terrific reviews, I am thrilled and so is my family. The only small issue I had was that BEST BUY advertised other items that a tilt head mixer would use, along with my larger mixer. Consequently, I did order and then had to pay for return of the items. Pay attention the the difference of the Pro Series 5 vs. tilt head, for covers etc. I have made bread, pizza dough, and my first Angel food cake with whipped cream- A dream stand mixer! I LOVE my MIXER!

Works like a charm. It is a must product for every household kitchen. It works like a beast and will last lifetime.
