I really like this mixer just wish it would also tilt like the smaller mixer. But I like all the attachments and that it is able to do big batches of what ever I am baking. Ice cream attachment is great with this mixer as well.

For the longest time I have used the KitchenAid Artisan Mixer but really needed more bowl room and power. I decided to step the game up and get the profession series and was blown away with it. This is a top notch buy for me and will get used for many years to come.

Bought this for my daughters birthday and she absolutely loves it. She has used it so many times since getting it. It is a bit heavy. The attachments are easy to take on and off. The use of it is simple.

This is a life saver. My wife uses this specifically for macarons with the softer attachment and they turn out better than place we used to buy them. Also great for any baking needs really.

Easy to use and powerful. Fairly heavy so doesn't move around in use but also something to consider as might want to leave it in a location instead of moving it frequently.

This thing will whip up enough cookies for your neighborhood Christmas party still have enough left over for when Santa shoves his fat fanny down the chimney. Shipping on this 5 qt beaut was super fast and the online ordering was so easy my crayon eating cousin could have done it!

I finally bought the kitchenAid mixer this was one of the best decisions I have made. I have been looking at this mixer for some time. This mixer will allow me to make perfect cakes and also with all the attachments I will be able to do all that I need to do and more. I am so glad I finally made the decision to purchase this mixer because this has made my cooking experience so much easier.

My wife likes KitchenAid because of good feedbacks from friends. She was looking for a stand mixer and it was just nice that KitchenAid had a few models during black Friday. We chose the Professional 500 Series because it has good power at 500W (other models were at 350W) and has a sturdy setup (bowl lift). She hasn't used it yet though thus no issues so far. Not that we're expecting any.

I never thought I would buy a Kitchenaid mixer until they came out with the lift model. This is very tall but, fortunately, I don't have to tilt it so it fits under my cabinet. I have a moderate kitchen and this isn't the elephant I was afraid it would be. It takes up its fair share but the corner of my counter never gets used anyway. I love that its a solid piece and there's no joints to wobble and jump and lock and unlock. One lever lowers the bowl and that same lever locks the bowl. I've seen people struggle with removing and snapping on the bowl but it actually goes on and comes off with ease and no jolt if you put one side peg on and then press the bowl inward and snap it down over the other peg instead of trying to force the back of the bowl down or yank it up after both pegs are in. I also love that these are easy enough to repair as they age and internal gears need replaced. I have one criticism and its one that really irritates me. Finding kitchenaid parts for specific bowls can be a maze and, in some cases, a financial risk. I don't like that every bowl doesn't include a pouring shield. I know it's for "pouring" but I think its a safety feature, considering the power of this thing. Hunting for accessories and replacements can be inconvenient and maddening but having to hunt for safety features is just absurd and shouldn't happen when you are buying a quality product. The guards should snap on securely and come with the bowl to keep fingers from being sucked into the beater just because you have fingers near a powerful motor. If you do find the right cover, it just sits on the bowl and is easily knocked out of position, increasing the chance of you instinctively rescuing it and getting too close to the beater. That's truly my only complaint about this product. Anyone that has 16 and 1/2 inches in height between countertop and cabinets and an empty corner they haven't filled would be able to accomodate this. Its convenient, straight forward, doesn't require a lot of hand strength if you put the bowl on and take it off without trying to pop it over the back piece and it does have some cool attachments that are easy enough to find, although there's only one that appeals to me. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and consider myself a routine cook but not a relentless cook. If you cook enough to have any kind of stand mixer, this is a nice one to have.

I have a Kitchen Aid mixer just like this one that I have had for many years. It still works great and I love it. My in-laws and my husband and I are giving this to my sister-in-law for Christmas. She will love it. I use mine for making numerous loaves of pumpkin bread, cakes and cookies at Christmas. I use it throughout the year, but at Christmas the most. This machine is a work horse.

I have been wanting one for so long yet the sticker price held me back. Now that I got one, well the family, everyone has something they want to cook, bake, and even make slime. I cannot wait until shopping for the attachments to open up even more options for use. This will be a great work horse for all my kitchen needs and provides confidence to be able to tackle more homemade meals.

It is heavy but that is what keeps this powerful mixer from moving around on the countertop with a heavy load. I recommend dropping the bowl with the lift/lower mechanism prior to adding additional ingredients to allow more room around the bowl and beaters. Remember not to put attachments in the dishwasher, hand wash to keep them looking like new or they will get an ugly dull finish.

We have been using hand mixers, and a very old bread mixer, that was hand crank. My husband saw this in the store, and said he was tired of us using archaic devices, and said this would make life better. Was not too sure about that statement, but now that we have used this several times, I must say that we were using archaic devices, and now wonder why we waited so long to get one.
