That being said, we used this twice and the thing bounces around and is very loud. We owned a commercial Kitchen-Aid mixer before this one and it was quieter and more balanced.

All metal gears, powerful motor, not too big

Beater and dough hook are coated, which is nice too so that they can go in the dishwasher.

This mixer feels like commercial grade equipment. Just made banana nut bread and it worked perfectly with no learning curve. Love it
