I purchased this item 2 years ago. I got it for a reduced price during a bonus sale. Originally I wanted it to make bread dough. I still use it for that but not as much as I thought I would. But what I do use it for is grinding my own chicken breast for healthy burgers and sausages. I had bought the original meat grinder and pasta maker with my first Kitchenaid almost 30 years ago. Like all Kitchenaid attachments it fits perfectly with my newer model. And a added bonus when it arrived I actually got the 525 watt version instead of the 450 watt. I am still so pleased with my purchase that I came back today and ordered the slicer grinder attachment.

purchased this as a gift for my daughter ... it is used at least four to five times weekly for various recipes. Definitely an amazing purchase and something that will be passed down for generations to come.

One of my favorite kitchen appliances. I love the shiney black color. Plenty of power to mix stiff cookie dough. Has a soft start so your flour doesn't fly out everywhere when you first turn the machine on.

I absolutely LOVE this mixer! It is big enough for all of my needs and still fits on my counter with a white quilted cover purchased to protect it. I never have to scrape the bowl anymore because of the dynamics of the mixer. Have made bread in it and OMG how easy it is!! The dough hook takes care of the mixing and kneading! I have never had a mixer with a non-tilting head, which I quickly learned to use. Always wanted a KitchenAid but never could afford one. Now the prices are reasonable and if you look around, they are always on sale somewhere. I got mine on Bestbuy for an excellent discount and free shipping! This product is one I would highly recommend and this particular size (rather than the larger "6" size) is perfect for the home kitchen.

This thing is robust and made with quality. We have used it and love it. Im glad we got the bigger motor. It is a little louder then a small motor but worth it!

WORKS GREAT... I MAKE HOMEMADE BREAD AND BAGELS. ALTHOUGH THE BAGELS I WILL BE DOING BY HAND AS IT WAS PUTTING STRESS ON THE MOTOR (VERY STIFF DOUGH). CAN'T WAIT TO TRY OTHER THINGS
