Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! 5 quart bowl is amply sized and the motor works like a charm. I've had my own Kitchen Aid professional for about 15 years and it still works slick. Have no doubt this one will give my daughter a lifetime of use. We love our stand mixer! It is very sturdy and I feel safe using it with my 8 year old nieces. We are working on buying the attachments for pasta making as our next project. Simple instructions make it easy to use. I recently bought one for my mom!

Great new additon to our kitchen! My mom usually bakes a lot so this have make her life easier, it gives you the option to use different velocities, it works really fast and is easy to use. Totally recommended, specially if you bake or cook a lot!

Got this mixer on a daily deal just before Christmas for over $300 off, so as long as it worked relatively well it would get 5 stars for value. But "relatively well" is underselling it a bit. I upgraded from a tilt-head Artisan series model, and aside from the bowl-lift mechanism, the most obvious difference is the power, which is immediately noticeable. I use this mixer a lot to make homemade pizza dough, and when making larger batches, that power really comes in handy when mixing heavy, gooey dough. Added bonus: when using the dough hook attachment, the bowl-lift design is perfect for testing whether the dough is "kneaded" enough, because when you lower the bowl it will slide easily off the hook. Overall, it's a definite upgrade from the Artisan series mixer, with power to spare, and I actually prefer the bowl-lift design to the tilt-head, as it feels more sturdy to me. Add in the fact that I got it for under $200 and this was an absolute no-brainer, even if you already own an older model.

Bought this product for my wife because she likes to cook range from pastry to cake. She said the mixer can make a better dough either for bread or pastries. This one is better than classic and artisan model as the power is moderately higher. Overall, my wife loves it and this is the most important one

Typical Kitchen Aid mixer. We already had a mixer that worked fine but upgraded to this version as the bowl has greater capacity. Looks great, runs quiet, and mixes well. I could not imagine buying a higher quality item and look forward to years of use.

Very powerful, works pretty well but it’s loud. Also not nearly as user friendly as the tilt-head models.
