All of those celebrity chefs on TV use KitchenAid, so how bad can it be? However, I feel obligated to point out that this item was purchased as a Christmas present and as of this date is still unopened and unused. If we encounter any unexpected issues, I will reflect that in an update.

Great Bargain

Not as good as cheaper tilt head

Both of them had issues (one made horribly loud noises and the other one would only turn on every other time). I got a third one that was functional but it’s not very powerful. I ran it side by side with the much less expensive tilt head and the tilt head worked at least twice as fast. I spent about 20 minutes trying to get egg whites to stiff peaks before giving up. It’s also a little tricky getting the bowl in. The only reason I kept it was because I got it cheap on Black Friday

The attachment chipped

I can’t tell if I bought an open box one or old model but other than that it works great. I just with I was able to told the head along with moving the mixing bowl down for ease of use. The thing is super heavy so moving it around is exercise lol
