It's enabled a father-daughter activity -- lots of baking together. Excellent for anything that would otherwise require a lot of long tedious whipping, mixing, or kneading, i.e., breads, souffles, cheesecake, meringues, and the like. It's quite sturdy, looks good on the counter, and does a great job.

Let my daughter “borrow” it temporarily while we traveled in an RV full time, as it was a little too big for my limited kitchen space. For some reason I had a hard time getting it back from her!! She grew up using it and got used to having it for herself, so I treated myself to this new one! Once you’ve had a Kitchenaid stand mixer, you don’t EVER want anything else!!
