Our old mixer was the artisan type and this is a the "lift" style of mixer so it took a little of getting use to but I'm definitely loving the purchase.

It would be ideal if those loose parts can be taped. Be very careful when unboxing it. The unit itself is great!, very solid and powerful.

Considering I am used to just using a hand held wire whisk, this is a huge (and welcomed) upgrade! It is quite bulky though so make sure you have storage room before you purchase it!
