This is great for making a batch (or two) of cookies for the holiday season. Also the attachments you can get with this is great! I'm in love with how I can just have my own cut up veggies or shredded ones without having to do it myself. The Professional 500 is able to handle heavy loads of flour so it's not struggling to stir it when your making your favorite foods.

I felt the dough hook on the KitchenAid would be better. It is. Does very well mixing cookie dough, too. I'm happy with it and my friends, the eaters are thrilled.

It's a workhorse of a mixer

Needed a workhorse to help out, and this beast is the knight in shinning armor. Easy to use, simple and almost elegant. I like that you can adjust the bowl hight with the screw and that there are so many attachments that can be added. A great buy of a awesome mixer for sure.
