I've always wanted a KitchenAid mixer and planned on watching sales for the artisan. I found this one for $199 on Black Friday, which is a much better deal (and mixer)! I've already made cookies with it and have had no issues. The motor is powerful. I washed the bowl and attachments thoroughly after reading other reviews mentioning a black oily film. It came right off, and didn't cause any trouble when I used it. So glad I found this deal!

As with most Kitchenaid products, the quality is second to none. We use the mixer quite frequently and have never been disappointed with how it works. Love the available attachments. Only negative is that is really tall, so you must have ample space to keep it on your counter. Very happy with this purchase.

Have always wanted a quality mixer, especially a Kitchenaid. The professional series is heavy and as soon as you lift from the box its quality is the first thing you notice. This mixer works extremely well, you can mix anything one’s heart would desire and it mixes with ease.

These seems expensive at first but once you get it home and you realize how much you can actually mix with this and make dough for your own bread or even simple tasks like whisking eggs for french toast it becomes worth every penny.

Easy to use and clean. Makes baking and creating smooth batters a dream. Deeper bowl helps limit the splashing of ingredients as they mix. Really happy with the versatility.

If you're into cooking at all and want to make bread or mix specific ingredients this is your best bet. Caught it on sale and have not regretted the purchase. Hefty, versatile, and good quality.

This mixer feels well made and runs very smoothly with plenty of power to mix heavy doughs. I've used it several times and am very happy with how well it performs. I've had one of these in the past and was very glad to see that the quality looks to continue to be very good.

I have a “vintage” KitchenAid stand mixer, but needed a mixer for our RV. The new color, ink blue, is gorgeous! I love them both! I’ve tested the new mixer out making bread, pastries, lots of pasta, and cookies! Ice cream is next!

The KitchenAid 5QT stand mixer is awesome! Have wanted one for a long time, and so glad we finally got one. It's great for making breads, desserts, pasta, and with the added attachments, it makes chopping/grinding so quick and easy too. Highly recommend!

Nice machine purchased the glass bowl also to keep the food clean. A little noisy because of the better gears in it.

Nice empirical red color, works great for baking. Makes a good gift, ....................... awesome.
