So far so good!! I have used my mixer a couple of times and haven't had any problems. It has taken me a while to get used to putting on and taking off the beater etc but I have never used a KitchenAid before so it's a learning curve. I like it so far and am looking forward to being able to add ingredients whilst the mixer is in use rather than having to stop my hand held mixer each and every time. I store it in a lower cabinet and although it is heavy i can manage ok.

Did not come with enough attachments. Love the color weight and stability

While it certainly has more power that the older model it replaced, the machine is LOUD and the cap for the accessory port does not tighten and wiggles while in use. Knowing all this, I likely would not have "upgraded". That says, it functions well and is certainly more powerful than what I had.

The kitchen aid 5 qts is Great, for baking, and is very useful.

So my wife loves to bake and I love to eat. Honestly KitchenAid is just one of those things that if you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s and had a mom or dad that did a lot of cooking you had one and ill bet they still have it. My mom has had hers for more then 30 years i believe at this point and everyone who has one seems to say tge same thing its a forever item and tgere isnt much these days you can buy just once so its time my wife gets her KitchenAid

Husband wanted one for years and finally purchased as a Christmas gift. We use this almost everyday.

The 5 quart size is great for varying size batches and the attachments handle most jobs. The motor handled a heavy batch of pizza dough effortlessly. The lift bowl made use and cleaning easy.
