Finally it was on sale enough for me to make the jump and I am so glad I did! So far I've tried three kinds of cookies, mashed potatoes, eggs, pancakes, and more in just over a month! I use it more than I ever thought! I'm looking forward to getting the smaller bowl for it so I can use it even more with easier clean up. I am so glad I splurged for the 5qt too!

I love the lift on this one because I can keep it right on the countertop without worrying about it hitting the upper cabinet.

You still have to follow basic directions. The power of education will always beat a kitchen appliance. With that being said, this is a great product for people that don't want a forearm or bicep workout. It does all the mixing for you as advertised. Yes, its a little expensive but you will be able to fit in with the rest of your sourdough starter friends. Works great, spins good, quiet, easy to maintain. What else can you say about a mixer? Uhhh, it mixes. $299 for the product....now that is a lot of dough. Pun intended, boom!
