We have burned up 2 different brand mixers over the past 5 years. This one does an excellent job so far and has no trouble with heavier recipes.

KitchenAid Miracle Mixer

It is heavy which is understandable for such a powerful mixer, but mixing and kneeding doughs is so much easier with this unit. The 5 QT size is a lot bigger than I was expecting which makes it more time consuming to mix small batches. For the home baker, this is more than enough for what you would want and I know KitchenAids will last a lifetime, totally worth the investment!

I love this thing! It works super quickly and its so easy to use! I bought the metal meat grinder and I’m amazed how good it works and how easy it is to clean every part after usage. I highly recommend!
