Bought this mixer to replace a 20 year old mixer of a different brand that failed. Needed to make batches of Christmas cookies. Works great. Powerful motor and gets the mixing job done much faster than the previous mixer. Only issue was getting used to installing and removing the bowl ..trick is using the lever on the side.

I always wanted one of those machines for my kitchen but the price was always too high now it was dramatically reduced so I purchased. It works fine and has a big bowl along with it. However it is complicated if you want to empty the contents of your bowl because you have to remove the mixer part so that is a hassle plus it does not come with a lot of attachments you have to buy separate

Works but very noisy. Almost sounds like it’s about to fall apart. Bowl is super thin which just seems poor quality

Outstanding machine! We bake a lot of bread and this KitchenAid makes the process so much easier. Quality is great.

This makes learning how to bake so much easier! Mixing is always the hardest part.

All the tedious mixing and stirring that I used to do by hand or use the messy electric mixer for, now gets done by this. Now those tasks are done in half the time with half the amount of things to wash. I actually make things now that I never did before because of the convenience of this mixer. It's very powerful and sturdy, and the accessories that came with this model are perfect for basic cooking and baking needs. The additional accessories you can buy are very expensive though.

Great price, love the lift version for simplicity. Have experimented with all kinds of pizza dough.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it! Easy to use

Bought for our daughter for Christmas. She has not opened it yet. Know she will love it. It is her second one. She wore out the first Kitchenaid she had. She bakes alot and makes bread every week.

I hesitated buying one of these for years, simply because I thought they were overpriced. Found this on sale, bought it, love it. This model (500 Pro series) is sturdy and quite powerful (325W), though I haven't pushed it beyond normal use. My only negative is that I have limited counter space and this 5quart takes up a fair amount of space. Hint: You'll want to let friends and family know you have it so they can buy you the various attachments as gifts.

I bought this machine because my other (smaller) one's c bread hook could not handle 6 cups of flour. I make bread a lot and this was a sweet deal. I would have given it 5 stars but it is a bit noisy. However that is not a problem for me. Love it!

Great product, very easy to use, very durable, good addition to the kitchen.

I wasn't sure whether to get this stationary mixer or the Tilt head mixer but after reading reviews I am glad I got this one. It seems quite powerful although I have not tried to make bread and it yet. It was easy to set up and cleans up very well after use.

Excellent product and quality, easy to use and clean

I have been researching Kitchen Aid mixers for a few months & seeking the advice of friends/family as to which design I should get: bowl lift or tilt. Best Buy had the best deal as compared to other retailers. I love the attachments & the power & speed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bowl can sometimes be difficult to get into the cradle correctly. There is a tab at the back of the bowl and two posts on either side that the bowl must be fitted into just right in order to secure the bowl. The tab can be difficult to get the bowl situated into just right. Other than that minor detail I love my new mixer & cant wait to get some more attachments & try some new recipes!

I love love love my mixer! If I had to be picky, the bowl is pretty big so you have to whisk more than three eggs or a half a cup of something! Other than that it is amazing! :) worth every penny!

NOt as robust as the model 6 that broke, but price difference gives me acceptance
