This was an upgrade to our 5 quart classic. The larger sized bowl and easy start are welcome additions. We only wished we could find a glass bowl for the lift up models

Best Mixer

I had read the reviews before purchasing and the one thing that I found true is that you must really really wash the bowl before the first use or it leaves black streaks in your dough. Other than that, it is perfect!! Multiple speeds and a strong engine mix quickly and thoroughly and the large bowl allows bigger batches to be made at once. So glad I was finally able to get one.

Classic Workhorse

The shiny onyx black is sophisticated and classic and looks great on my kitchen counter. Plan to use it weekly and hopefully it will outlive me even if I live to be 100. I’m 69 now. I also got it for half off during sale!

User friendly... Or not.

What I have an issue with, is the challenge of the bowl removal. It is extremely difficult to remove the bowl when your hands may be moist from baking. Also, the attachments are so large, that unless your baking for a party of 20+, aka bowl is filled up to the top, it doesn't mix all the way.
