Well, last December, I got a fantastic deal from Best Buy for $300 off and paid only $200 for this. It's a great mixer, has made baking so much easier, and a snap to clean. I Love my new mixer and thanks to Best Buy at a wonderful price! Highly recommend it if you can find a good price deal.

A very useful kitchen appliance

I want to put out one caution for other buyers - stainless steel bowl may cause greasy gray residue. User manual doesn't point this out and we had to discard our first mixed dough. Thoroughly wash the bowl with lime and baking soda before first use.

Sturdy construction, well packaged but one of the attachments has to be hand washed (stainless steel) yet the bowl is stainless steel and can be put in the dishwasher. You will also get discounts on accessories for registering the item with Kitchenaid.
