I bought this mixer because it was on sale and the one I had was 13 years old. Although my old one worked perfectly still, I wanted a bigger one with the bowl lift. It is my favorite toy in the kitchen for sure! It can easily handle double batches of cookie dough or bread dough. This thing was a steal for the sale price of $220. I ended up getting 2 more for my sisters lol

This was given as a gift to my mother in law. I have the same one and love it! It can make dough, to batter, to frosting, to anything you can dream of!

Great Mixer , if you know you know. 2 in the family got diagnosed with celiac , so we are buying a 2nd to avoid cross contamination and are on a mission to make a Gluten Free bread that is actually Great ... Especially hamburger buns!

I'm happy so far with this mixer after two uses. It is heavy, stays in place on the counter, mixes well. There were a couple of "user" issues at first, as I'd had an old Hamilton Beach blender with a tilt head. This one does not have that. However, the bowl can be raised and lowered easily for removal as needed. So far I feel this is a successful purchase!

Bought this to help with mixing. It does a wonderful job. Makes mixing double or triple batches much easier than by hand. Everything comings out better than mixing by hand. Eggs come out more fluffy, cookies seem to rise more, and bread comes out way better.

Bar far this is the best mixer ever. My daughter made cupcakes from scratch & agreed this is the best mixer ever. She was to bake more just to use it.

My wife has been looking for a stand mixer for quite some time. This one is just what she's been looking for. It's going to be a great Christmas gift!

I have not used it long enough, but the few times it has made my life easier. I would suggest to plan ahead for space where to put it before buying it. It is an item that is easy to assemble, looks great, and it is even easier to use. Every kitchen needs one.

Having used this avidly for the last few months, I honestly can say it's totally worth the kitchen space. I was against it for years because i have a tiny apartment (and have always lived in small apartments). Any kitchen appliance takes a lot of thought -- like we just got a microwave this year...After lusting over it for so long, I decided that I wanted to make more breads at home and this device is absolutely necessary (unless you like kneading as a workout). I've made: several types of western loaf breads, bagels, milk breads, chinese steamed bread, pasta, udon, and a couple of batches of cookies. It totally helps me stay sane for homemade baked goods. Only thing I wish i knew, it's good for large batches of things. Not great for small batches (ie. 6 cup cakes) -- i felt like the mixing paddle wasn't quite reaching the bottom of the bowl. I got the navy matte, it's absolutely gorgeous on my counter (was thinking about hiding it in a cabinet, but 1. it looks actually quite pretty, and 2. it pretty heavy).

Although this was purchased as a gift, I've used a Kitchenaid stand mixer for more than 30 years and can attest to its quality. The only reason I rate it as 4-star is because it is so heavy and unwieldy.

This was a gift for me wife and she loves it. Definitely satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend this to a friend.

Since it was purchased as a Christmas gift for my sister, it has not been opened yet. I have one though and hope she will enjoy it as much as I have.
