This mixer works great for everything else but a dough. It was smoking and stopped working after about ten minutes mixing a dough at recommended speed. While, after couple minutes cooling down, the mixer worked again. Called the KitchenAid customer service. They said they only recommend to use this mixer on a dough for no longer than 4 minutes. Regarding smoking and stop working, it was just a overheat protection, and should not be a big deal...

I was using an ancient hand held blender before I finally bought this one. Not only do I love the color but the ease and efficiency of blending is SO much better than the old one. Highly recommend.

My old Kitchenaid mixer is going on 20 yrs old and still going strong. I just wanted to have another on standby and for extra baking and icing as I do a lot of wedding and birthday cakes. Icing is very hard on mixers but for a Kitchenaid, it's a piece of cake!

I love my mixer because I can mix meringue while making the chocolate filing and the pie crust is browning on the oven. I’m able to multi task - LOVE IT!! Banana bread next while the meringue is browning. Christmas made easier.

This is the best electric mixer to have and well worth the price. Best Buy had such a good price i could not pass it up. This is easy to use for beginners and more advance baking. The motor on it is great.

I love it. Does everything I need it to do. Cheesecake, bread, cookies, cakes. So far no problems at all. Strong motor and easy to clean. Was great to get it on the Black Friday sale.

Powerful motor with ten speed selection so you can stir and easily increase speed. Bowl is large enough so scraping down the bowl isn’t a problem. Just make sure you stop the motor before .

Wife has wanted one for ever. Had a "brand X", for years that filled the bill for a number of years. She loves the Kitchen Aid, looks good on the counter and had all the attachments necessary with out clutter.

This Professional 5 Mixer is excellent! I absolutely love the bowl lift on it when you have a full bowl of cookie dough! The accessories that you can buy for it is endless and the new heated bowl is so awesome! Would definitely recommend buying it!
