My old Kitchenaid mixer is going on 20 yrs old and still going strong. I just wanted to have another on standby and for extra baking and icing as I do a lot of wedding and birthday cakes. Icing is very hard on mixers but for a Kitchenaid, it's a piece of cake!

This Professional 5 Mixer is excellent! I absolutely love the bowl lift on it when you have a full bowl of cookie dough! The accessories that you can buy for it is endless and the new heated bowl is so awesome! Would definitely recommend buying it!

Top quality and can’t wait to purchase a few of the attachments! Already made several different types of bread and mixes with no problem. Next will be cookie dough. Would highly recommend.

We have used this machine so much. Anytime we are mixing and kind of dough for bread or pizza this machine is so helpful. By far the most used appliance in our kitchen. Well designed and well made with many attachments available.

It’s a professional mixer, enough said. It definitely doesn’t disappoint.

Do not purchase. I purchased only two years ago and it has already died on me. Just will no longer start. Called KitchenAid and they say the warranty was only good for one year so now I have to purchase an entirely new mixer. Total rip off. Worked fine until it just stopped working.

After replacing a mixer every year or two once my oster died, I decided to try kitchenaid. My son does my cookies and learned to use it very quickly. It is very sturdy and heavy so I dont doubt that the parts are mostly metal.

This unit should handle any recipes that we throw at it in our household.

Great surprise gift!! Wife had a older mixer,and it just wasn't cutting any more..It was time to upgrade to the best.

My husband had the entry level one and upgraded to this one and loves it.

This is my wife's favorite appliance. Making pizza dough and/or cookies is effortless. I only wish it was the version with the automatic bowl lift, but that's only because I'm lazy...
