Purchased for my wife, and she is quite the chef in the kitchen, so based on her experience, she says that this is even better than the kitchenaid that she uses at work. It is a stronger motor, and can handle every kind of mixture she uses it for. The only shortcoming we see is that the big bowl scraper is a seperate purchase, would of been nice to be included, but we got this on sale so not a big deal

This mixer is very sturdy. I have used it various times and the motor has no trouble -does a great job. The mixer is very heavy to lift if you are moving it around.Best Buy did a price match for me so was an excellent purchase!

Makes cooking preparation so much easier. The only drawback is the bulkiness but completely worth the convenience. Snap in bowl keeps everything in place and allows me to walk away and continue with something else while it is doing its job.

I couldn't find a better value anywhere else,as usual, best deal at best buy.

I have used a 4 qt KitchenAid mixer for years and felt it was time to upgrade. I absolutely love this Professional 5 model! I like the bowl lift feature. The only drawback is that it takes a lot of storage space in my kitchen cabinet.

My mother bakes allot so I've slowly been upgrading her appliances. She was extremely thrilled with this machine and it has seemed to make her life a bit easier.

I have bought it when it was $199.99 on "Deal of the Day " sale , so for me it's a great price. I use it for making dough , Only reason I m giving it 4 star because motor is LOUD....for any professional grade item I expect perfection or atleast near to perfection .. I haven't tried it for making cookie dough or cake or wipping cream so cannot speak for it.

If you don't have this mixer, you're missing out. This was probably the best black friday purchase I've ever done. Sturdy & works really well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

There are attachments that fit all of the Kitchenaid mixers. There are attachments to make ice cream, spiralize vegetables, ground meat and sever more. The Kitchenaid is an essential kitchen appliance.
