Was able to get a professional version for lest than the home version this time. Very well built machine that was everything my wife and I wanted. Now just to start getting the attachments.

Mainly bought it to use for indian roti atta mixing. It works great and finished the job in 3 min, which can take 15 min with hand.

It mixes my batches pretty great and the mixer itself is so pretty. However, it's so noisy. The other one i bought wasn't as noisy. Is it because this one was on sale? Also, this is a 110 volt mixer. I thought it'd be more flexible being able to function with either 110 or 220..

Bought as a gift for my sister. KitchenAid brand is top quality and value. This will last a lifetime!

Anniversary present ofor the wife. She loves it. There's a reason you see KitchenAid mixers on many of the "baking", "cooking", "recipe" TV shows - they're excellent machines and reliable. Numerous accessories and add-ons are available, but the bottom line is the motors are powerful and do mixing work that would be difficult by hand. They clean up nicely, look good in the kitchen, and just plain work. She's making me hand-made (well, the KitchenAid will help) pretzels for the SuperBowl tomorrow. Dee-lish!
