Always wanted a kitchen aide

This one I bought has a medium to loud whine to it. It works good but it is loud even on low speed. It makes me think I will have motor issues down the road

A kitchen necessity

I bake a lot, and use all three I own. I do my own gear-grease change once every few years and they last forever. This newest one I bought makes louder gear noise than the other two I've owned longer than 10 years.

One Disappointment though, the top doesn’t tilt up. Even though the bowl has a lever to move up and down it is hard to get bowl off while trying to remove the attachment. This is a great tool in my kitchen.
