We purchased this mixer for the larger capacity. It's a little awkward to attach the bowl and the whisk seems cheap and light (as compared to my older model). With that being said, it's still a great mixer but I'm disappointed that the attachments are hard to find. Would love to do more with this mixer.

Heavy duty mixer with many uses. My only complaint is that I would like one small bowl because not everything is made in large size.

I love everything about this mixer. I really love that it came in a gray color. Being able to get any color to fit your style or kitchen is a total PLUS!

The only thing wrong with this mixer is that it isn't a tilt head. This wouldn't be an issue except the bowl doesn't lower or raise enough to get the mixer piece out of whatever you're mixing in order to remove it from the bowl. So if you're making anything soft that drips, you have to lower the bowl, push the mixing piece down into your batter getting more batter on it, then angle it to get it out of the bowl, or remove the bowl and then let the mixing piece drip. I'm baffled how this works out for anyone; I see it as a complete fail and am returning it immediately.

It a good machine but it did not come with a complete set of mixer. You have to buy a different blade

I have owned a KitchenAid Artisan for years. I use it all the time, but the on/off sliding switch is beginning to wear out and slips a lot. I decided to get this KitchenAid model. It is a little different since the head doesn't tilt back, but the bowls lifts up. But, that's just a slight difference I have had to get used to. It still uses all the attachments I used with my other KitchenAid (which I still also use). That was an important factor in my decision to try this other model. KitchenAid mixers last for years and make lots of kitchen tasks easier.
