Great, professional mixer

She loves baking, and has been wanting a good mixer for years. I figured go big, or go home, and she is in LOVE! Kitchen Aid is a FANTASTIC brand, and I love that she'll have a great, trusty, go-to mixer that brings a beautiful, chic look to her kitchen as well. I plan on purchasing a Kitchen Aid mixer for myself after I move in a few months, and you can bet I will be buying another from Best Buy again!

Disappointed with bowl, no upgrades

When it would no longer change speeds the representative at Sunbeam had never even heard of one, so there was no fixing it. It had lasted over 30 years. When the price was right, I bought this size and style. Worked as promised, but the bowl is a nightmare. It is lightweight and VERY awkward to put on the machine. Glad the bowl had a handle or I couldn't have got it on the unit. I thought the bowl should have had a heavier gauge of steel. I think for the original price, even though I bought it on sale, it should have come with some of the upgrades found on smaller units!
